You might think that I’ve been neglecting Icon Index Symbol because all I’ve been posting are Twitter roundups, but those things take time. Copying the tweets and cleaning them up for posting is pretty straightforward (regular expressions are magical), but sorting them into categories and inserting them into templates actually takes a bit of time.
If I was going to just try to churn the blog, I’d post something like a music video that I’ve had bookmarked since June:
If you must, you can sound off in the comments about the degree to which the video partakes of / recuperates from / is always already embedded within the blaxploitation genre it’s trying to parody. But you really shouldn’t.
